Paralegal / Marketing Director
Rebecca Miller is a native Floridian, born in Gainesville but grew up in New Orleans. A graduate of The University of West Florida earning a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. During college, Rebecca worked at the Escambia County Courthouse doing probation intake and management. After graduation, she joined the corporate law firm of Holland and Knight in Orlando as a foreclosure specialist. In 2010 she moved to Jacksonville to work for the law firm of Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball focusing on estate planning and real estate transactions. In 2015 she joined the legal team at Heekin Litigation Group as a paralegal for all business law, construction law, real estate law, family law and HOA transactions. In additional to her legal responsibilities Rebecca also handles the firms marketing, social media management, networking and office management. For the past few years Rebecca has performed marketing consulting for local car dealerships, animal rescues and other local small businesses. As an entrepreneur, she owns and operates a canine business called Barked Goods. Recently in 2017 Rebecca started a charity event called Barks & Brews, that is held at local breweries throughout the Jacksonville area to raise money for local animal rescues. She has also sponsored Barks & Brew events in Erie, Colorado. In her free time, Rebecca hangs out with her 3 dogs, kayaks, hikes, likes to read, cooks/bakes, works out and writes.
